In 2015 author Gordon May rode 11,400 miles from Manchester, UK, to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on a WWII 350cc Matchless.  His route took him across Europe to the Black Sea,  through the Caucasus and into Central Asia, including visits to  Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and into China. After  traversing high altitude passes in Pakistan, Gordon continued through  India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and Laos before reaching his final destination.

Gordon's fascinating talk will be accompanied by images and film from the ride. He will also be available to answer questions about his other journeys: Overland To India on a 1953 Royal Enfield Bullet, Overland To Egypt on a 1952 BSA Bantam and his most recent exploit, from Nordkapp to Cape Town on a 1952 Royal Enfield Twin.
